Hello

I would like to see an option that enables a user waypoint on an existing route to be referenced to another point/landmark as a bearing and distance. The "Relative Position" does allow this after a fashion but it can only be done by trial and error (or have I missed something?). It would be great if the software did the calculation for you Smile. On a similar theme how about on option to create abeam positions en-route?

Thanks

I haven't got a mobile...yet, so not aware of this, but it still could be useful at the planning stage where atc ask for such info regularly

ATC ask for your bearing and distance from a landmark while you're still at the planning stage? Smile

I think this would be useful. At the moment there is no way of knowing your radial & range from a navaid. ATC often ask for this, even when the navaid is not working! What I would suggest is an option to have a small RMI in corner of the screen somewhere, with a 'DME' underneath, & the ability to select which navaid it is 'tuned' to.

Can I add my voice to the above useful addition, when feasible?

Thanks

Wot I meant to say was...... When planning a flight and anticipating that atc might request your bearing/dist from a navaid/airfield this could be built into the plan.w00t
